The Olympic torch, lit in Greece on March 24, with protests including Reporters Without Borders (during the speech of Lui Qi, the president of the Chinese Organizing Committee of the Games), is now in St. Petersburg (Russia).

To follow the path of it, the Google guys have prepared an application that facilitates the tracking of it with both Google Maps and Google Earth. It is free and can be incorporated in the form of HTML / Java script to a web page without major problems.

Since it is impossible to isolate sports policy, if you want an independent opinion on censorship, lack of freedom and harassment of Human Rights that is lived in the organizing country of the Olympic Games, the world's largest prison for journalists and Internet users, I recommend you visit the Reporters Without Borders website.
