Green and quiet views from the Hotel Oria in Tolosa
Although what is Tolosa you can travel and visit as eone day scapada from San Sebastián / DonostiaIf you plan to spend more time (and avoid a sovereign early in the morning), it is best to spend the night in the town and in this way you can make excursions around the region, to villages, hamlets or viewpoints of the surroundings. The place where I stayed on the occasion of the Tolosa Bean Festival, was the Hotel Oria.
Hotel Oria belongs to the Sercotel chain and is located just 200 meters from the Tolosa railway station. On that side, its location is ideal, especially if you are going to take home bags with products (Tolosa beans, txacolí, Ibarra chillies) and want to save you long walks. The historic center is just over 5 minutes away by S. Frantzisko Pasealekua or, if you prefer to walk along the river bank, you can add a few more minutes to the previous figure, by going to look at the landscape and go by Zumalakarregi Pasealekua .
The Oria Hotel in Tolosa has two buildings, a newer tower, from 1997 and another nearby, smaller building with fewer rooms. I stayed in the first one, in room number 45, which It overlooks a park of unknown name opposite (where is one of the 9 outdoor sculptures of Tolosa, in this case "The Plow" by Nestor Basterrechea) and to one side of the adjacent building (but not attached!).
Room of the Hotel Oria in Tolosa
My room was double, with two single beds, and with a space well used for the dimensions Of the same. At the entrance, on the right, a bathroom that included a bathtub (a point in its favor, those that we do not have at home we just used it) of more than reasonable dimensions.
Hand soap, shoe polish, combs and gel / shampoo bottle are the amenities (toiletries) that you can expect to find. A curiosity, there was no toilet paper but their functions were performed by soft tissues of a dispenser. A plus, come on.
