The rooms are very new and well maintained and the price -flexible, as I could see later- is very acceptable for mid season, 14,000 pesos a night. Income of this type is important for many families in the area, so I would advise you to stay this way before doing so in more established hotels. To visit the surroundings of the town you can choose to do it on foot, on horseback or by jeep. Many people go to San Agustín to relax because not only is the archaeological issue but it is located in a beautiful area that allows you to take it easy and enjoy nature and people.
I stayed there for a couple of nights and during the third I traveled by bus to Bogotá. I tell you in the next about the lively capital of the country.
